Case Study – HiyaMee
Overview
HiyaMee is a tech community that strives to bring together the finest tech talents and emerging businesses. They conduct over 600 networking and recruiting events in India and the US across 30 cities to make this happen. In addition to providing recruitment services, they also provide a unique interview-as-a-service where they present the interviewed candidates and their feedback to their clients.
Problems
- 1. Struggles in pre-screening and pre-interviewing candidates
- 2. A manual and time-consuming process
- 3. Outdated and laborious methods of data handling
- 4. Ineffective assessment and tracking of candidates’ performances
Key Requirements
To handle hundreds of thousands of resumes and ease the burden of the recruitment process, HiyaMee wanted an application tracking system
Solutions
1. We created an application tracking system that would oversee the entire recruitment process lifecycle.
2. To go along with the tracking system and reduce the ardent labor, a dashboard was designed and developed for their clients to create, update, and furnish the status of candidates’ profiles on the platform.
3. We also built an AI-based Resume Parser, a microservice deployed on AWS with Lambda. which could interpret the resume and refresh the data without manual interference.
4. In addition, we provided some key features, like interview scheduling, and enabled their clients to obtain reports and the status of the candidates.
Design Process
This project involved teamwork between UI and UX designers to create an innovative solution. Our business and growth team stayed in constant communication, providing valuable insights throughout the process.
